Montessorita
Montessori support for teachers, schools, and families.
Montessorita is a mother and daughter team with more than forty years of Montessori practice between them. We train Montessori teachers, support Montessori schools, and coach the parents raising Montessori children.
Everything we offer is below. Start wherever you actually are.

The 5 Myths of Montessori at Home

Montessori Teacher Academy
Teacher training
Credentialing and professional development for the adults in the classroom, from the assistant in their first year to the guide going for a credential.
Foundations of Montessori
A four week introduction to the method and the mindset behind a strong Montessori classroom. Built for classroom assistants, support staff, administrators, parents, and school leaders who want real fluency in the philosophy. Up to 24 hours of AMS-recognized professional development.
Montessori Teacher Credential
The full credential program, with coursework, practicum observations, and practical exams. Book a call and we'll walk you through the components, the timeline, and payment options.
Consulting Services
School support
Running a school means managing staff, answering parents, meeting licensing requirements, and keeping up with guidelines that keep changing. We build a plan with you and then stay to help you carry it out. Every school has its own culture and its own needs, so nothing here is off the shelf.
Supporting your teachers
Judgment-free coaching for guides at any stage, new or experienced. Workshops and professional development, virtual or on site, earning AMS professional development hours on leadership, conflict management, anti-bias anti-racist education, peace education, and core curriculum. Plus customized curriculum development for early childhood and elementary.
Supporting your administration
Leadership coaching for you. Administrative support across policies, communications, staff coordination, schedules, budgeting, and community events. Staffing and recruitment for teaching, admin, and support roles. And school or classroom setup, whether you are opening, redesigning, or working out where the money should go.
Supporting your families
Parent education workshops and resources, so the families in your school understand what they are looking at. Parent coaching on routines, activities, discipline, and setting up a home that works. A parent who understands the method becomes your best advocate.
Evaluate · Plan · Refine · Improve
We start with a consultation and classroom observations, build a scope of work from what we actually find, then adjust as we go and stay long enough for the changes to hold.
