YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
You found Montessori for a reason. Something about the way it sees children, the trust it places in them, the depth it asks of us, spoke to you. You didn't stumble into this philosophy. You chose it.
And then you tried to bring it home.
You read the books. You followed the accounts. You rearranged the shelves. You tried to slow down, observe more, react less.
And some days it works. And some days it really, really doesn't.
And somewhere in the space between what Montessori looks like online and what Monday morning looks like in your home, you started to wonder: am I doing this right? Is this even working?
You are not doing it wrong.
You are doing it without the right support.
That's what The Prepared Parent is here to change.
You might be in the right place if...
You believe in Montessori but struggle to live it consistently
You've tried things at home and they haven't worked the way you hoped
You spend time on Montessori Instagram and feel worse, not better
You understand the philosophy intellectually and some days are still hard
You want one trusted guide to help you stop performing and start living this
Your child is between birth and 6 years old
NOT FOR
Parents looking for a material list or shelf setup guide.
This is for parents ready to look inward.
Most Montessori content teaches you what to do. A better shelf. A calmer response. A more intentional morning routine.
The Prepared Parent teaches you how to see. Your child. Yourself. The relationship between you.
Because here is what 15 years of professional Montessori experience and 3 years as a Montessori parent has taught Emma: the parents who transform their family's daily life aren't the ones who buy the right materials. They're the ones who understand their child deeply, trust their own instincts, and have done enough of their own inner work to show up grounded even on the hard days.
That is what this 8 weeks is designed to build.
A slow, deliberate unfolding.

What happens after 8 weeks?
A lifetime inside Montessori.
Emma's Montessori journey began at eight weeks old, peering over the edge of the sling her mother wore while teaching in her Montessori classroom. She attended Montessori school through junior high and credits that education with shaping her love of learning, her commitment to meaningful work, and her need to make a positive impact in the world.
She holds an AMS Early Childhood Credential and a Master's in Leadership Development with a focus on Montessori research and leadership. She has taught in Children's House and Elementary classrooms, served as a Montessori school director, and serves as Co-Director of the Montessori Teacher Academy, an AMS-affiliated accredited teacher education program. She is the founder and President of the California Montessori Alliance.
She is a Montessori parent navigating the same beautiful, complicated work that every family she works with is facing.
"I know what it feels like to love this philosophy and still have hard days. That gap is where this program fits."
