WHY A STRONG FOUNDATION MATTERS
The success of any Montessori environment depends on knowledgeable, prepared adults, the people who understand the philosophy and principles behind the method, not just its materials.
Whether you are an assistant, an administrator, a prospective teacher, or simply drawn to Montessori education, a strong foundation changes how you see the classroom and the child within it.
Montessori Foundations is a four-week course designed to give you exactly that: a clear, grounded introduction to the method and the mindset that makes it work.
Meeting you wherever you are on your Montessori path
Classroom assistants who want to understand the 'why' behind what they support each day.
Administrators and school leaders who want fluency in the philosophy guiding their programs.
Prospective and career-changing teachers exploring Montessori before committing to full training.
Parents and education professionals who simply want a genuine understanding of the method.
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
Speak confidently about the history and origins of the Montessori method.
Recognize the key elements of Montessori philosophy and methodology.
Understand how to serve children and respond to their developmental needs.
Support the preparation and upkeep of the Montessori environment.
Contribute meaningfully to the daily life of the classroom and school.
Appreciate the central role of observation in Montessori practice.
